The Cardinals on Dogwood Stake is a beautifully curated piece of metal garden art designed to highlight the iconic colors of spring. Hand‑painted details accentuate the bright red plumage of the male cardinal, the soft brown tones of the female, and the pastel yellow‑white hues of blooming dogwood flowers. Crafted from recycled steel and pre‑treated for our signature rusted patina, this nature‑inspired design adds a warm, vintage touch to any garden bed or outdoor space.
Northern Cardinals are beloved throughout the eastern United States, Canada, and Mexico, known for their striking color and distinctive presence. Dogwood blooms—recognized for their soft, elegant petals—pair meaningfully with the cardinal, especially for Virginians, as the dogwood is the state flower and the cardinal is the state bird. The stake inserts easily into soft ground, and for long‑lasting color and protection, consider applying a seasonal coat of clear Satin Lacquer.
